RAFT is PAT NOECKER

Marking the milestones of RAFT and PAT NOECKER
One of the fresher shows I’ve played lately was this SKYPE show for Anna Barie and Johannes Buff in Lyon, France, where they had a major rager.  We sound checked earlier in the week and it was pretty simple.  I used the external mic on the computer and Johannes ran the feed through his gear in LYON.  So about 730 on Sunday morning I rose from a couple hours of sleep after returning home from the DAMN LOOPS show I played at 1 a.m in Williamsburg.  Like any live show, people were intently gazing at me and occasionally, I would look up from my performance position and look back at them.  As I did, I felt like who are these people in my bedroom staring at me.  I felt close to them, but also, pretty far away.  It was strange, lovely, intense, real, fake, cold, warm and probably the closest feeling I’ve ever had to being on the TNG Enterprise or communicating w a hologram.  I went back to sleep after I gave them a half an hour of RAFT morning jams.  I recommend the SKYPE show.
